Board changes
ECO Animal Health Group plc (“ECO”), a leader in the development, registration and marketing of pharmaceutical products for animals, is pleased to announce that effective today Dr Andrew Alfred Jones PhD, BSc (Hons) has joined the board as an independent non-executive director.
Dr Andrew A. Jones (aged 57) has over 32 years’ experience in the global life sciences industry and has more recently held the positions of non-executive chairman of Downland Marketing Limited, a distribution franchise group supplying animal health and nutrition products to grassland animal farmers and non-executive director of Zedlock Limited, which designs and sells patented high security locks to the agricultural and industrial sectors. Andrew started his career and spent his first 15 years with Syngenta (formerly Zeneca Agrochemicals) in various managerial roles.
In accordance with corporate governance best practice, with effect from 1 December 2017, David Danson is retiring from the board after nine years of service as a non-executive director and Peter Lawrence, currently executive chairman, will become non-executive chairman with effect from 1 January 2018.
