Secondary Placing and Director/PDMR dealings
At and since the time of the IPO, certain members of DWF have entered into phased lock-up arrangements. The phased lock-up arrangements release annually on announcement of the Company's preliminary results for the full financial year to 30 April. On 8 September 2020, being the date upon which DWF announced its preliminary results for the year to 30 April 2020, the first release from lock-up occurred with respect to 34,361,338 shares in aggregate released to 211 partners (and their permitted transferees). Following individual elections by approximately 17% of those partners (and certain of their permitted transferees), 7,446,636 ordinary shares have been sold, being approximately 21.67% of the shares released from lock-up on 8 September 2020 and 4.15% of the aggregate shares held by such partners (and their permitted transferees).
In addition to the shares that were released from lock-up, 2,003,361 ordinary shares have been sold to settle tax obligations arising from vesting IPO share awards. One of the sellers was Chris Stefani, Group Chief Financial Officer, who sold 107,237 shares.
In aggregate, 9,449,997 million shares have been sold at 56.72 pence per share.
