ACAL PLC - BOARD CHANGE

Acal plc ('Acal') announces that Jim Virdee,Β who has been Finance Director of Acal sinceΒ 1993,Β has stepped downΒ from thatΒ position.

Malcolm Cooper, whoΒ has worked within the Acal group for over nineΒ years and has been Group Financial Controller since 2004 is appointed as Finance Director of Acal with immediate effect.

Mr Cooper qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and prior to joining Acal worked for PricewaterhouseCoopersΒ and the BOC Group.

There are no matters requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
