AGM STATEMENT

Driver, the global construction consultancy to the construction and engineering industries, is holding its Annual General Meeting later today. At the meeting, Non-Executive Chairman, Alan McClue, will make the following statement:

"At the time of the announcement of Driver's preliminary results I stated that over the coming financial year we would develop our operations in Africa, the UK Power & Process sector and in Qatar whilst maintaining a stable environment in our remaining businesses. This would provide growth in terms of revenue and profit whilst maintaining a healthy cash position and signal sustainability of the Groups profits."

"I am pleased to confirm that early in to this financial year it was necessary to update the markets with the positive news that Driver's performance against all key financial metrics would exceed management expectations. The benefits of restructuring the Middle East have materialised sooner than anticipated and the Groups operations in Africa and the UK Power & Process sector are performing at the top end of expectations, whilst all other businesses are operating in a stable environment."

I am understandably delighted by the progress made by Driver over the last 12 months and given our recent strong trading I look forward to the remainder of the year with renewed optimism."
