Blackwoods Small Batch gin approved for sale in the USA

Distil (AIM: DIS), owner of premium drinks brands, is pleased to announce that following the statement made on 27 November 2014 Blackwoods Small Batch Gin has now been fully approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for sale in the United States of America, the largest single market for UK produced gin in the world.

Production and shipping of the first cases of Blackwoods Small Batch gin is expected to start in the next few weeks.

Blackwoods Small Batch gin, www.blackwoodsgin.co.uk has been developed for the U.S. market. Blackwoods Limited Edition gin, RedLeg spiced rum and Blackwoods Botanical vodka are currently awaiting TTB approval which is anticipated in the coming months.

Distil also confirms today that it has entered into an exclusive, long term, importation and distribution agreement withThe Winebow Group(Winebow) for both Blackwoods and RedLeg brands covering the USA, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Their indirect distributor network reaches all other 'wet' states and US territories.

A separate announcement regarding Blavod black vodka distribution in the USA will be made in due course.
