Cancellation Announcement
DFS Furniture plc (the "Company") announces the cancellation of treasury shares in accordance with the provisions of section 729 of the Companies Act 2006.
The treasury shares being cancelled include those that were purchased under the Company's share buyback programme which launched on 15 March 2022. As announced on 15 September 2022, the Board intends to extend the buyback programme to purchase a further £10m tranche of shares. The repurchase has commenced and will take place over the next 3-6 months and will be within the repurchase authorisation granted by shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting on 4 November 2022.
In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Company discloses the following information:
