Transaction in own shares

DFS Furniture plc (the "Company") announces that on 15 January 2020 it purchased for Treasury the following number of its ordinary shares of 150 pence each pursuant to its 400,000 share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 10 December and 18 December 2019.

Description of shares: DFS Furniture plc - ordinary shares of 150 pence

Number of shares repurchased: 8,214 shares

Date of transaction: 15 January 2020

Average price paid per share: 281.78 pence

Lowest price paid per share: 278.50 pence

Highest price paid per share: 285.00 pence

Broker: Jefferies International Limited

Following the purchase of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 212,279,274 (excluding Treasury shares), and the company will hold 751,327 ordinary shares in Treasury.

The figure of 212,279,274 may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
