Deltex Medical Group plc (the 'Company') was notified today that Paul Mitchell, Finance Director, has acquired 181,539 ordinary shares of 1p each as the result of the exercise of 181,539 options under the Company's 2003 Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme.

Following the above purchase, Paul Mitchell owns 181,539 ordinary shares representing 0.14 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Paul Mitchell also holds options over 615,000 ordinary shares in the Company's Employee share option scheme. These options have a range of exercise periods from 2005 to 2019.

Accordingly, application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on Tuesday 6 April 2010.

Following this, the total number of voting rights in issue will be 127,398,710.
