Deltex Medical Group plc (the 'Company') was notified today that one of its ex-employees has acquired 500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each as the result of the exercise of 500,000 options with an exercise price of 12.75p each under the Company's 2001 Executive Share Option Scheme.

Accordingly, application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 24 February 2011.

Following this, the total number of voting rights in issue will be 132,525,866.
