Dairy Crest Group PLC21 June 2006 Dairy Crest Deferred Bonus Plan ("DBP") The Company has today made awards of shares in the Company to three Directors asbelow: J W D Hall 1,223A S N Murray 763P W Thornton 2,819 In accordance with the rules of the DBP these share awards have been made for anil price consideration in lieu of payment of a cash bonus due to the awardeesin respect of the financial year 2005/06. The number of shares awarded has beencalculated by reference to the closing market price of 460p on 20 June 2006. Theshares will be held by the Trustees of the Dairy Crest ESOP as nominee untilthey fully vest in 3 years time, subject to the awardee remaining employed byDairy Crest during that period.
