Dairy Crest Group PLC19 June 2007 19 June 2007 Dairy Crest Group plc - Directors' Shareholding Dairy Crest Group plc ("the Company") has been informed that Mr M Allen, Mr A SN Murray and Mr P W Thornton, directors of the Company, have today undertakenthe following transactions and have increased their personal shareholdings inthe Company. Mr M Allen has exercised 23,015 options over ordinary shares maturing under the2004 phase of the Dairy Crest Long Term Inventive Share Plan ("the Plan"). Inaddition, Mr Allen has notified the Company that he has today sold 9,515ordinary shares at 718.69p per share. The shares retained on this transaction(13,500) will be registered in the name of his wife, Mrs Amanda Allen. Followingthese transactions Mr Allen's beneficial ownership in the Company has increasedto 73,687 ordinary shares (0.06% of the total issued share capital), of which1,528 are held in his name and the remainder in his wife's name. Mr A S N Murray has exercised 24,453 options over ordinary shares maturing underthe 2004 phase of the Plan. In addition Mr Murray has notified the company thathe has today sold 10,153 ordinary shares at 718.69p per share. Following thesetransactions Mr Murray's beneficial ownership in the Company has increased to19,806 ordinary shares (0.02% of the total issued share capital). Mr P W Thornton has exercised 23,015 options over ordinary shares maturing underthe 2004 phase of the Plan. In addition, Mr Thornton has notified the Companythat he has today sold 9,515 ordinary shares at 718.69p per share. The sharesretained on this transaction (13,500) will be registered in the name of hiswife, wife Mrs Amanda Thornton. Following these transactions Mr Thornton'sbeneficial ownership in the Company has increased to 43,672 ordinary shares(0.03% of total issued share capital), of which 2,515 are held in his name andthe remainder in his wife's name.
