Dairy Crest Group PLC01 March 2005 Dairy Crest Group plc - QUEST On 1 March 2005 Dairy Crest allotted a further 614,970 ordinary shares to theTrustee of the Dairy Crest Qualifying Employee Share Ownership Trust ("QUEST")at 423.5p per share to enable the QUEST to satisfy maturing options under thestaff Sharesave Scheme. Drummond Hall, Alastair Murray, Mark Allen and Peter Thornton, as directors ofDairy Crest, are potential beneficiaries under the QUEST (together with all ofthe bona fide employees and former employees of Dairy Crest) and are thereforeinterested in the Dairy Crest shares allotted.
