New Commission

Independent TV producer DCD Media is pleased to announce that it has won a commission from ITV for a 60 minute documentary with the working title Total Recall.

Produced by Rize Television Ltd (trading under the brand name "Rize USA"), the co-venture between DCD Media and Sheldon Lazarus, the one-off special documentary will generate revenue of £0.2m for DCD Media to be recognized in the coming financial year, and will be aired in Spring 2015.

Produced and directed by Richard Macer, and co-executive produced by Nick Shearman and Sheldon Lazarus, Total Recall will explore the incredible world of competitive memory by following the stories of British hopefuls as they take on the challenge of competing against the world's leading memory athletes at the World Memory Championships in China in December 2014.

Timeweave Limited ("Timeweave"), one of DCD Media's largest shareholders, is providing Rize USA with a short term £0.2m unsecured loan to fund the production and recoverable VAT, to be repaid by 30 April 2015 (the "Loan"). Under the terms of the Loan, Rize USA expects to pay Timeweave a total of £9,000 for associated costs and interest. The independent directors, Nicky Davies Williams and David Green, consider, having consulted finnCap as nominated adviser to the Company, that the terms of the Loan are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned.
