Dixons Carphone plc (the "Company") announces Katie Bickerstaffe, UK & Ireland CEO, has informed the Board of her decision to step down to take up the position of Chief Executive Designate at the new energy supply business recently announced by SSE plc and Innogy SE. Katie will be taking up her new role later this year.
Alex Baldock, Group Chief Executive, said:

Katie's dedication, passion and hard work has helped transform and strengthen the business into a market leader during a period of significant change.
