This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.10(B) of the Rules Governing theListing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (the "Company") announces that,based on the Company's preliminary statistics, as of 31 March 2015, total powergeneration of the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") amounted to41.1452 billion kWh, representing a decrease of approximately 7.26% whencompared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Total on-grid powergeneration of the Group amounted to 38.8671 billion kWh, representing adecrease of approximately 7.81% when compared to the corresponding period ofthe previous year. The Group's power generation of thermal power generation units decreased byapproximately 10.15% when compared with the corresponding period of theprevious year which is attributable to factors such as the slowdown in economicgrowth of China, the decrease in overall regional on-grid utilisation hours ofthermal power generation units and annual inspections of several thermal powergenerating units. The Group's power generation of hydropower generation unitsincreased by approximately 58.18% when compared with the corresponding periodof the previous year as a result of the increase in inflowing water in the areawhere the generation units situated. 1. Photovoltaic project: Qinghai Gonghe Datang International Phase III 10MW grid-connected photovoltaic project.
