Board appointment
Daniel Stewart (AIM: DAN), stockbroker and corporate finance adviser to smaller and medium-sized companies, is pleased to announce that Justin Bates is joining the Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Justin joined Daniel Stewart in November 2006 from Numis Securities where he was a Director and Head of the Speciality and Other Finance equity research team. During this time his team was voted #1 in the sector in the Reuters Smaller Companies Survey. From 1997 - 1999, Justin was a member of the highly rated Financials & Insurance research team at Charterhouse Securities. He has worked on many primary and secondary transactions in the sector, including the IPO of IG Group and the demerger of Chesnara from Countrywide Assured. Justin holds a BSc Hons. and Masters degree from City University and Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.
The Company is also pleased to announce that Mike Jeremy has been appointed Head of Equity Research. Mike Jeremy will be leading a growing team of analysts who specialise particularly in the Technology Media and Telecoms, Healthcare, Support Services, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Retail and Leisure & Gaming sectors.
Mike Jeremy has been an equity analyst in a career spanning almost 25 years, during which he has worked for prestigious global financial institutions including Swiss Bank, Barings and ING Wholesale Banking where he was the Managing Director of its Pan-European Telecoms team from March 1995 until he joined Daniel Stewart in November 2005.
Mike Jeremy remains the lead analyst on the technology, media and telecoms team at Daniel Stewart.

Justin Bates is beneficial holder of 196,163 ordinary shares at 0.25p, representing approximately 0.091 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
