Cyan Holdings Plc10 October 2007 Press Release 10 October 2007 Cyan Holdings plc ("Cyan" or the "Company") Exercise of options by former Chairman Cyan Holdings plc, the fabless semiconductor company specialising in thedevelopment of low power consumption, configurable microcontroller chips,announces that on 10 October 2007, 400,000 new ordinary shares in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") have been issued and allotted following the exercise ofoptions granted to Professor Michael Hughes, former non-executive Chairman ofthe Company, at an exercise price of 0.2p per share (the "Options"). Following this exercise of Options, Mr. Hughes will hold 740,909 ordinary sharesin the Company, representing 0.53% of the enlarged issued share capital. Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to tradingon AIM, which is expected to occur on 16 October 2007.
