In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1R, Countrywide plc (the Company) hereby notifies the market of the following:
The Company's issued share capital as at 30 April 2013 consisted of 219,444,961 Ordinary Shares of 1p each.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 219,444,961. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
