The Board of Countrywide plc is pleased to confirm that Cathy Turner will be appointed non-executive Director of the Company and Chairman of the Company's Remuneration Committee with effect from 31st July 2013.
Cathy is currently a Vice President of UNICEF UK and a member of the Board of the Royal College of Art and the Institute of Financial Services. Cathy has extensive industry experience working with Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young and Watson Wyatt as a compensation and benefits consultant in her early career.
She subsequently joined Barclays PLC, where she was a member of the Group Executive Committee with responsibility for Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, Strategy and Brand and Marketing. During her time with Barclays she was also Director, Investor Relations for four years and had extensive experience in remuneration in her many roles. Most recently, she was Chief Administrative Officer of Lloyds Banking Group PLC
Cathy is a graduate of the University of Lancaster.
