Director Declaration

The Board of Countrywide plc notes the announcement today by FirstGroup plc of the appointment of Richard Adam, independent non-executive director and chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of Countrywide plc, as an independent non-executive director to the Board of FirstGroup plc with effect from 24 February 2017. In addition, from that date, Richard Adam will be chair of the Audit Committee at FirstGroup plc.

This announcement is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14 R of the Listing Rules.
