Result of AGM

 

CVS, one of the UK's leading providers of integrated veterinary services, announces that at the Company's Annual General Meeting ('AGM') held earlier today, all of the resolutions proposed, as set out in the Notice of the AGM, were passed on a poll. Resolutions 1-12 were passed as ordinary resolutions and resolutions 13-16 were passed as special resolution.

 

In accordance with the FRC Code of Corporate Governance the Board will be consulting with major shareholders in order to understand the reasons why two resolutions received a vote of over 20% against the resolution, and an update on views received and actions taken will be published no later than six months after today's date.

 

A summary of proxy votes received for each resolution will shortly be available on the Company's website, www.cvsukltd.co.uk.
