Update re: Acquisition
Conviviality Retail Plc (AIM: CVR), the UK's largest franchised off-licence and convenience store chain trading primarily under the Bargain Booze fascia, notes the announcement from Punch Taverns plc that it has now received shareholder approval for the disposal of Matthew Clark (Holdings) Limited to Conviviality.
Admission of the Enlarged Group to trading is expected to become effective tomorrow, Friday 2 October 2015, which is the final condition of the acquisition. Subsequently, completion of the acquisition is expected on Wednesday 7 October 2015.
