Appointment of new CEO
The Board of Charles Taylor Consulting plc ("Charles Taylor Consulting" or the "Company") announces that it has been agreed to appoint David Gideon Marock as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will be taking up the role in the near future. This follows the announcement last December that John Rowe would be retiring from the Company during 2011.
David Marock joins Charles Taylor Consulting from specialist insurer Beazley plc where he is Group Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He also chairs Beazley's European Group and is responsible for building Beazley's presence across Europe. He chairs the Xchanging Review Board and sits on the Claims Service Review Board on behalf of the Lloyd's Market Association.
Previously, David Marock led Beazley's Specialty Lines and Political Contingency Group Claims teams and the Private Enterprise Rest of World Underwriting team. Before joining Beazley he was at the management consultancy, McKinsey, advising financial services clients on strategic, operational and corporate finance matters. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries.
David Marock's appointment is subject to approval from the Financial Services Authority. There are no further details relating to the appointment of David Marock to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

David Marock background
·; David Marock graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Science in 1992. He qualified as a fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries in 1995.

·; David Marock joined McKinsey & Co in 1999 where he advised numerous financial services groups, including insurers, banks and asset managers.
