Redstone PLC29 May 2007 Redstone plc ("Redstone" or "the Group") Redstone wins 5 year SAN project with University College Dublin 29th May 2007 - Redstone, the national IT and Communications solutions provider,today announces that it has received orders to deliver the initial stage of afive year project to supply University College Dublin ("UCD") with a completeHewlett Packard ("HP") storage solution. As Ireland's preferred HP supplier, Redstone Technology will be supplying asolution capable of scaling up to a capacity of 300 terabytes and willultimately be one of the largest HP storage solutions installed in Ireland. Thevalue of the initial stage of the project is €730,000, with an ultimate projectvalue of up to €4.5m over 5 years. Redstone and UCD are implementing the solution to support the academic, teachingand research activities of the University's 3,000 staff and 22,000 under & postgraduate students across the 5 colleges and research institutes. Shaun Kennedy, CTO from UCD commented, "We evaluated all the options that wereopen to us to put in place a major storage solution that could fulfill ourexisting needs and, importantly, our future needs. Redstone put together themost compelling package combining excellent service levels, an understanding ofour requirements and trustworthy HP architecture.
