Director Declaration

Cientifica, the AIM-quoted investment company focussing on the acquisition of business making use of advanced materials, grapheme and emerging technologies, announces that it was notified yesterday that Tim Baldwin, a director of Cientifica, acquired on 31st January 2014, through his private pension fund, 850,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Following this purchase Mr Baldwin has an interest in 850,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 3.3 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
