Total Voting Rights
In accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1R, the Company notifies the market that as at 31 October 2025:
1. The Company's issued share capital comprised 2,049,789,559 ordinary shares of 10p each, each with one vote.
2. 52,991,686 ordinary shares are held in treasury. These shares are not taken into consideration in relation to the payment of dividends and voting at shareholder meetings.
Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 1,996,797,873. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
There are 10,466,657 ordinary shares of the Company which have been purchased pursuant to the share buyback programme announced on 20 August 2025 which are in the course of the settlement process. Once settled, these shares will be held in treasury.
