CHESNARA PLC ("the Company") Result of Placing and Open Offer On 5 May 2005 the Company announced a Placing of 18,333,333 New Shares,incorporating an Open Offer of 8,625,545 New Shares at ‚£1.20 per share, inorder to part fund the acquisition of Irish Life (UK) Holdings plc.The Open Offer closed at 3.00pm on 27 May 2005.
