Cosalt PLC24 May 2006 Cosalt plc ("Cosalt" or the "Group") Disposal of Banner The Board of Cosalt today announces that it has decided to seek offers for theGroup's Banner division, which is engaged principally in the manufacture,procurement and distribution of schoolwear and childrenswear. As previouslyintimated in our trading announcements, the Board is engaged in a process toenhance shareholder value by concentrating its resources on those of the Group'sbusinesses which have the greatest competitive advantage and potential forgrowth. The process will involve both acquisitions and disposals. The Board has concluded that Banner, although an attractive and profitablebusiness, is not core to the Group's activities. Accordingly, it is the Board'sintention to begin the marketing of Banner shortly.
