Appointment of Director and Strategic Review

The Board of Coral Products PLC ("Coral" or "the company") announces the appointment of Joe Grimmond as non executive director. Joe was previously the Chief Executive of James Dickie PLC and the Chairman of Widney PLC.

Joe will be assisting the company in examining its strategy, with a view to expanding into associated areas of the existing business in order to develop a more broadly based manufacturing group. An important element of this strategy will involve the search for suitable acquisitions as well as organic growth.

Joe Grimmond is a Director of Widney PLC and Theobald Holdings Limited. An Administrator was appointed to Widney PLC in March 2009.
