Copper Resources Corporation31 December 2007 For immediate release Stock Exchange Announcement 31 December 2007 COPPER RESOURCES CORP ("the Company or CRC") Further re Offer On 5 December 2007, Metorex announced the terms of an offer to acquire theentire issued and to be issued share capital of CRC (the "Offer"). The OfferDocument setting out full terms of the Offer was posted to CRC shareholders on 5December 2007. Shareholders of CRC are referred to Metorex's announcement of 31 December,whereby it was stated that by 3.00pm on 28 December 2007, being the firstclosing date of the Offer, Metorex had received valid acceptances of the Offerin respect of a total of 5,471,004 CRC shares, representing approximately 6.42per cent. of the issued share capital of CRC which together with 33,293,392 CRCShares beneficially owned by Metorex, representing 39.06 per cent. of the issuedshare capital of CRC, total 38,764,396 CRC shares representing 45.48 per cent.of the issued share capital of CRC. The offer which was initially open for acceptance until 15h00 (GMT) on 28December 2007, has been extended and will remain open for acceptance until 3.00p.m. on the next closing date, which will be on Monday 7 January 2008. Due to the fact that currently all the Directors of Copper Resources areconnected with the Forrest Group, which has agreed to sell its holding in CRC toMetorex, they are unable to give independent guidance to shareholders as to whataction they should take in relation to the offer.
