CPL Resources PLC24 January 2006 CPL Resources plc ("CPL" or "the Company") Notification of Directors Interests CPL was today informed of the following dealings by the following directors. Anne Heraty, chief executive, today disposed of 5,000,000 Ordinary Shares ofnominal value €0.10 each at a price of €3.75 per share. Following thistransaction Ms. Heraty is beneficially interested in 14,907,764 Ordinary Sharesrepresenting 40.42% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. This isexclusive of the interests of her husband, Paul Carroll, which remain unchanged. John Hennessy, non-executive chairman, today disposed of 500,000 Ordinary Sharesof nominal value €0.10 each at a price of €3.75 per share.
