Scrip Dividend Reference Price

The City Pub Group announces that the reference price of a scrip dividend share under the Company's scrip dividend alternative to the 2018 dividend has been set at 218.7 pence. The scrip reference price represents the average closing mid-market price of an ordinary share between 30 May and 5 June 2019 (inclusive), being the five business days following the ex-dividend date.

If shareholders wish to receive scrip dividend shares in lieu of cash, they should complete the Scrip Dividend Election Form set out in the appendix to the AGM notice and return it to the Company's registrars at Equiniti Limited, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA, as soon as possible and in any event so as to be received not later than 5.00pm on Monday 10 June 2019. The Scrip Dividend Election Form is available within the Shareholder Documents section on the Company's website at www.citypubcompany.com/investors.

The exact number of scrip dividend shares required to be issued under the scrip dividend alternative will be established after 10 June 2019 and a further announcement will be made as appropriate.
