Alex Vaughan, newly appointed chief executive officer, will later today set out his 'Leading Edge' strategy for the business and its medium-term development in a presentation at The London Stock Exchange.
It places greater emphasis on leveraging the Group's strong blue-chip client relationships, and reputation for complex programme delivery, through an accelerated deployment of higher margin services including future-shaping consultancy and advisory, asset optimisation and digital technology solutions.
Through a combination of organic and acquisitive growth, the Group's ambition is to derive over half of its business from higher margin services, targeting a blended divisional margin range of 6%-7% over the medium-term.
The Group's organisational and divisional structure has been re-organised and comprises Transportation (rail, highways and airports) and Natural Resources (water, energy and defence). The Group's results for H1 2019 will be presented on this basis including a pro forma restatement of the FY 2018 results.
No new material trading information will be disclosed.
