CompactPCI® Board

Concurrent Technologies Plc (AIM: CNC), a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer boards for critical applications, is pleased to announce a new CompactPCI® computing board.

The PP B7x/msd is based upon CompactPCI architecture which is a well-developed and extensively deployed platform. This latest board incorporates the Intel® Xeon® processor E-2176M (formerly known as Coffee Lake-H) announced earlier this year, providing a significant performance improvement and enables enhanced storage, graphics, connectivity and security capabilities. The board can be used to substantially extend the life of existing deployments of the CompactPCI form factor.

These boards are typically utilised in long life cycle applications where space is not the critical limiting factor, but extremes of temperature and humidity are issues. Often these boards will be used in maritime operations, typically in central management or command and control applications.
