Centrica plc announces that today it purchased (through BNP Paribas Financial Markets S.N.C.) 2,030,000 Centrica plc ordinary shares of 6 14/81 pence each at a price of 136.0598 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the Company's 2023-2024 share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 10 October 2023, and in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase agreement entered into with BNP Paribas Financial Markets S.N.C., as announced on 4 March 2024.

Since 10 October 2023, Centrica has purchased 265,608,939 ordinary shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £369,176,800.60.

Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 508,510,312 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 5,274,670,337 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market Abuse Regulation) (as in force in the UK and as amended by the Market Abuse (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019), detailed information about the individual purchases made by BNP Paribas Financial Markets S.N.C. is set out below.
