Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Clontarf Energy, the oil and gas exploration company focused on Ghana and Bolivia, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr Peter O'Toole as a Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect.

Mr O'Toole has operated civil engineering and construction companies for over 30 years, specialising in the mining and government infrastructure sectors. He is also the Honorary Consul General of Ireland in Bolivia. He is a Civil Engineer by discipline, educated at University of London - Queen Mary College, and GMIT Institute of Technology, Galway, Ireland.

David Horgan, Director, commented:

"Peter is uniquely qualified to serve as a Non-Executive Director of Clontarf. He has operated in Bolivia for over 30 years and has an encyclopedic knowledge of Bolivian mining, hydrocarbon, and infrastructure needs. We believe that Peter has the contacts, skills and credibility to execute a lithium evaporates project in South America."

As required by Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies, the Company confirms that Mr Peter Joseph O'Toole, aged 59, is currently a director/partner, or has been a director/partner in the past five years, of the companies listed below:

Mr O'Toole has no direct or indirect interest in the Company's issued share capital.
