Elektron announces that Keith Daley has been appointed Executive Chairman of the Company, having carried out the role of Non-executive Chairman and temporary Chief Executive Officer since the resignation of the previous CEO in 2008.

Keith has been a shareholder in Elektron since 1996. In 2004, he joined the board as a non executive director, following the acquisition of Arcolectric.

After graduating from Trinity Hall, Cambridge, Keith entered corporate banking, specialising in providing lending and merchant banking services to large multinational engineering companies.

For the past 25 years, he has been a professional investor, owner, Chief Executive Officer and Non-executive Chairman of smaller quoted and unquoted companies. He has experience across a wide range of sectors including technology, manufacturing, retail, management consultancy and finance.
