BOARD APPOINTMENT

The Board of Clarkson PLC, the world's leading shipping services group, is pleased to announce that Jeff Woyda has been appointed Chief Operating Officer in addition to his current role as Chief Financial Officer.

Commenting on the appointment, Andi Case, said:

"Jeff joined Clarkson in 2006 and has played a major role in the growth and development of the business over the last 9 years. The Board believes this appointment better reflects Jeff's remit and role within the business and on behalf of the entire Board I would like to congratulate him."
