Cineworld Group plcManagement appointments

Cineworld Group plc ("Cineworld" or "the Group") today announces two appointments consequent to its search for a new CFO, and two further management promotions.

Mr Dean Moore has joined the Group as Interim CFO, for a period of approximately 12 months.

Mr Moore is an experienced FTSE 250 CFO, who was Group Finance Director of N Brown Group plc for eleven years from 2004-2015, before which he was Group Finance Director of T & S Stores plc until it was acquired by Tesco plc in early 2003. From 1996 to 1999 he was Group Finance Director of Graham Group plc, and he has held a number of other senior finance positions since he qualified as a chartered accountant.

Mr Nisan Cohen, Cineworld VP of Finance, has been appointed Deputy CFO. Mr Cohen has been part of the Cineworld Group for 15 years. In the past two years, as Vice President of Finance he led the integration of the finance teams in the Group across nine countries. Previously, he worked for 13 years at Cinema City International NV, latterly as Deputy CFO, before its combination with Cineworld. Mr Cohen is a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.

In addition to his regular CFO duties, Mr Moore will work closely with Mr Cohen who, if his performance develops to the satisfaction of the Board over the next approximate 12 months, will be appointed to the CFO position on a full-time basis.

Current acting CFO, Israel Greidinger, will return to his duties as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, as part of the above changes. The changes take place with immediate effect.

In addition, Cineworld announces that Ms Renana Teperberg has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer, and Mr Matthew Eyre as Chief Operations Officer.

Ms Teperberg joined Cinema City International as a cinema cashier in 1997 while studying for a BA in psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After progressing to General Manager, she moved to Cinema City International Head Office where she subsequently became Head of Programming and Marketing. Following the combination she became Senior Vice President Commercial. Ms Teperberg holds an executive MBA in business management from IDC Herzliya.

Mr Eyre has 30 years' experience in the cinema industry. He began his career with UCI then served for 17 years at Warner Bros International Cinemas as General Manager, Regional Manager, Director of Operations and finally VP Operations for 10 territories. After serving two years as Co-CEO at Mann Theaters in Los Angeles, he joined Cineworld in 2005 to become a Senior Vice President in charge of Operations.

Tony Bloom, Chairman, said,

"I am delighted to welcome Dean to Cineworld, and would like to congratulate Nisan, Renana, and Matt on their promotions. Each of them has made a significant contribution to the Group over the years, and I am confident that they will continue to do so. I believe we have an outstanding executive team, with a wide and impressive range of experience"

Moshe Greidinger, CEO of Cineworld, said,

"I would like to welcome Dean and I am sure Cineworld will benefit from his extensive experience. I am confident that he and Nisan will be an effective team. I'm also delighted to congratulate Renana and Matt on their well-deserved promotions.
