Directors' share purchase
City of London Group PLC announces that on Thursday 25 March 2010 John Kent and Eric Anstee, Executive Directors of the Company, exercised some or all of their Market Value Options recently approved by shareholders in General Meeting. The shares were satisfied from shares held by the company in Treasury Stock.
John Kent, Director, Corporate Development of the Company, purchased for his pension fund, 72,780 ordinary shares of 10p each in the company at a price of 68p per share.
John Kent now holds a total of 72,780 shares, being 0.71% of the total shares in issue.
Eric Anstee, Chief Executive of the Company, purchased for his pension fund, 89,606 ordinary shares of 10p each in the company at a price of 68p per share.
Eric Anstee now holds a total of 89,606 shares, being 0.88% of the total shares in issue.
