Board Changes
Chime Communications plc, the international communications and sports marketing group, today announces changes to its Board of Directors.
Chime has appointed Clare Gilmartin as a Non-Executive Director. Clare is Vice President eBay, UK and Greater Europe and has led the European division during an exceptional period of growth for the brand, including the successful move to mobile platforms.
Clare joined the Board on 18th September 2013.
The Honourable Richard Alston, a Non-Executive Director since 2008, is standing down from the Board at the end of 2013. Richard is also a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Lord Davies, Chairman of Chime Communications, commented:
"We had a stated aim to re-shape the Board in order to align the members with our growth strategy. Clare is a high calibre individual, with experience of one of our key success drivers - to meet the challenges of the digital world. I'm sure Clare will make a great contribution to our future.
Richard Alston has served Chime since 2008 and through our recent period of transition, from a business with its original foundation in public relations to one based in sport, international and digital. Richard will leave us with our thanks and our best wishes for the future."
