Churchill Mining plc27 April 2005 Exploration update The Directors of Churchill Mining PLC ("Churchill) are pleased to updateshareholders on the Company's progress since it listed on the 15th April, 2005. Churchill's geological team has now completed preliminary work on the Company'sSouth Woodie-Woodie project and: 1) Identified a substantial extension to the initial target manganeseanomaly, which increases the known strike length from 700 metres to in excess of1.5 kilometres, at least doubling the initial target identified in the studiesreported by ANZECO. The newly identified extension has similar characteristicsto the already known anomaly described in the Company's Admission Document dated11 April 2005. 2) Identified at surface an additional manganese anomaly of at least 300metres in length not previously known. 3) Completed pre-drilling soil and rock sampling over the primary targetarea and newly identified manganese anomaly, with a total of 125 samples takenwhich will be processed by independent laboratories in Perth, Western Australia.Results are expected within 2-3 weeks. 4) Conducted further regional mapping in the area, which shall be combinedwith aerial and satellite photo interpretation as part of a regional study tolocate further potential manganese targets. The Directors are encouraged by these early positive results and look forward toupdating the market in due course.
