Transaction in Own Shares
Castings Plc ("Castings" or the "Company") announces that it has made the following purchases of ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") from Canaccord Genuity Limited on the London Stock Exchange ("LSE") pursuant to the Share Buyback Programme announced on 15 March 2022.

The Company will hold the repurchased shares in treasury. Following settlement of the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 43,632,068 Ordinary Shares, including 21,900 Ordinary Shares held in treasury.
Therefore, the figure of 43,610,168 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
The Company will make further announcements in due course following the completion of any further purchases pursuant to the Share Buyback Programme.
