Castings PLC announces that with effect from 31 March 2012, non-executive director Anthony Smith has resigned from the board of directors on retirement.

Alec Jones has been appointed as a non-executive director at a board meeting on 3 April 2012. Alec Jones is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers for 27 years until his retirement in 2010. During that time he was the lead partner on many major clients, a member of the Global Management Team responsible for Clients and Markets from 2003 to 2008 and was the leader of the Emerging Markets practices from 2008 to 2010.

Castings PLC further announces that Adam Vicary, who joined the company in September 2010, has been appointed to the board of directors as Managing Director of the Brownhills site with effect from 3 April 2012.
