Board Appointment
The Directors of LGO are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Fergus Jenkins to the Board of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr Jenkins has been working for the Company as Chief Operating Officer since March 2012. He is a Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering. He has over 20 years of experience working in industry, initially in mining before moving to petroleum. Mr Jenkins worked in a variety of technical and increasingly senior managerial positions in mid-sized independent oil companies, including Enterprise Oil, LASMO, OMV (UK) Ltd and Afren plc. Mr Jenkins serves currently as Technical Director of the AIM-traded Solo Oil plc.
Neil Ritson, LGO Chief Executive, commented:

Fergus has been at the centre of the development of the Company in Trinidad and especially in the recent drilling at the Goudron Field and it is fitting that he now joins the Board to continue his pivotal role in the operations of the Company."
Following the appointment of Fergus Jenkins, the LGO Board is composed of Steve Horton (Chairman), Iain Patrick (Non-Executive Director), Michael Douglas (Non-Executive Director), Neil Ritson (Chief Executive), James Thadchanamoorthy (Finance Director) and Fergus Jenkins (Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director).

Mr Jenkins has options to subscribe for 32.5 million ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 1p per share expiring on 31 December 2020. Mr Jenkins does not currently own any ordinary shares in the Company.
There are no further disclosures as required under Schedule Two (g) (i)-(viii) of the AIM Rules.
