Major Contract Win

Clarity Commerce Solutions plc ("Clarity"), a leading supplier of software solutions for the retail, entertainment, hospitality and leisure sectors, is delighted to announce that it has signed an agreement with FNAC Direct SA ("FNAC"), France's leading entertainment retail group, to jointly provide the first national cinema ticketing portal for France. Under the agreement, cinema users across France will be able to purchase tickets for screenings via the FNAC website. Clarity's advanced ticketing technology will process the ticket purchase requests on behalf of the FNAC site and will interact with the cinemas to create the booking. Clarity and FNAC will jointly operate the system and will share the commission on each ticket sold.

The solution will initially target the 118 cinemas which operate the ClarityLive cinema solution and, once implementation is complete, is expected to process in excess of two million ticket sales per year. It is also anticipated that other cinemas will join the network, either by adopting the ClarityLive solution or by creating a compatible link. The first cinemas will go live this month.

Once again it represents a significant step forward in Clarity's progression towards SaaS and cloud based solutions and demonstrates the advanced and relevant nature of the ClarityLive solution set. At the same time, it begins to unlock the ongoing revenue generating potential that comes from having a strong installed base in a market. There is no other cinema system provider in France that could have created access to such a large number of cinemas so quickly and with FNAC's dominant position in on-line sales we have access to the largest possible share of French consumers."
