Significant Universal Studios Contract Win

The Board of Clarity Commerce Solutions plc is pleased to announce that the Group's Retail Division has won a significant contract with the prestigious Universal Studios Florida to supply their Orlando theme park with all of their Point of Sale (POS) solutions for food and beverages.

The contract provides for Clarity to service over 200 locations and 700 terminals across the Universal Orlando Resort, including Universal Studios theme park, the Islands of Adventure theme park, and the 30-acre CityWalk entertainment complex.

The initial value of this contact is around £420,000 plus annual maintenance. The roll out is scheduled between September and November this year.

Recent restructuring including the divestment of non core businesses has allowed the Group to focus on a smaller number of high value markets where we are able to build positions of strength and shareholder value. In addition to the financial strength that has been gained by using the proceeds of divestments to reduce debt we continue to make operational efficiencies across the Group and I look forward to reporting further progress in due course."
