Change to Celtic plc Board

Celtic plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Brian Duffy has today joined the Board as an independent non-executive director.

Celtic Chairman, Dr John Reid commented,

"I am delighted to welcome Brian Duffy to our Board. He is a long-standing Celtic supporter with a passion for the Club, in addition to being a very able businessman. We will be drawing upon his enormous experience in UK and international retail operations, merchandising and brand development as we look to build our business further in the coming years."

Mr Duffy added,

"I was brought up in Glasgow, and as a lifelong supporter of the Club I am honoured to join the Board of Celtic. It is a great privilege to have the opportunity to play a part in the Club's future and I am looking forward to it tremendously."

Hugh Brian Duffy (55) is Group President, Europe of the Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation. He joined Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation in 2003 as President and Chief Operating Officer, Europe from the Sara Lee Corporation where he held a number of senior posts. Mr Duffy's list of other directorships within the last 5 years is attached. Mr Duffy also has a background in accountancy, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1976.

Mr Duffy holds 750 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company.

There are no further details to be disclosed under AIM Rule 17 relating to Mr Duffy's appointment.
