Charlemagne Capital Limited28 March 2008 28 March 2008 Charlemagne Capital Transaction in Shares by a Director Charlemagne Capital Limited ("Charlemagne", the "Company"), has been notified ofa sale of shares in the Company by Jayne Sutcliffe, a Director of the Company.The Company has also been notified of the purchase of shares in the Company bythe trustee of a trust of which Jayne Sutcliffe is a potential beneficiary. On 27 March 2008, the Company was informed that Jayne Sutcliffe had, on 27 March2008, sold 1,171,937 ordinary shares of US$0.01 per share, representing 0.41%per cent of Charlemagne's issued share capital, at a price, before expenses, of42.50 pence per share. On 27 March 2008, the Company was informed that the trustee of a trust which isintended to benefit Jayne Sutcliffe and her family had purchased, on 27 March2008, 1,200,000 ordinary shares of US$0.01 per share, representing 0.42% ofCharlemagne's issued share capital, at a price, before expenses, of 42.50 penceper share. As a result of these transactions, Jayne Sutcliffe and her family have potentialinterests as beneficiaries of discretionary trusts in a total of 30,898,519ordinary shares of US$0.01 per share in the Company, representing 10.88% of theissued share capital.
