Board appointment

Curtis Banks (AIM: CBP), one of the UK's leading SIPP providers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alastair Clarkson as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Alastair has also been appointed Chair of the Group's subsidiary boards and will be a member of the Risk & Customer Outcome committee and the Audit committee.

Mr Clarkson has a broad range of experience sitting on, and supporting, Boards of companies, professional bodies and charities with a focus on both risk management and finance functions. He is currently a non-executive director of Forester Life, Mediolanum International Life and is also an actuarial member of the Financial Reporting Council Tribunal Panel. Between 2002 and 2021 he worked at Standard Life plc / Standard Life Aberdeen plc where he held a range of senior executive positions across strategy and risk management functions and prior to that he worked at Scottish Provident Institution.
